Where's Jameson's story?

On Cara's laptop! She's still working on it. :)

Will we get more of [insert characters]?

Cara rarely closes a door completely, so there might very well be outtakes in the future. But when it comes to sequels and characters showing up as secondary players in series and future novels, it's always a good idea to read the "More from Cara" at the end of each book, where she discloses most of that information.

When does [title] come out?

As soon as Cara's done writing a story, she decides a release date with her editor and her crew, and just moments later, she makes it public on her social media. In other words, if she hasn't announced a release date, chances are she doesn't know herself. It's why asking her when a certain book comes out rarely gives a reader the response they're looking for. If you're in Cara's group on Facebook, or you subscribe to her newsletter, you will be the first to find out. :)

I only read gay romance; can I still enjoy the Camassia Cove series?

Yes. Each book in the Camassia series is standalone, unless it's a sequel or a series within the series, so you can pick only the MM books or the MF books, whatever you prefer. Characters in this series cross over and make appearances in several books, but you get a character’s main story in the book reserved for them. The crossovers are only for little glimpses and anecdotes. Camassia is a small town, and the characters are connected by friendship, relation, work, etc. Here, you can check out everything that has to do with the series.

Can I start with any Camassia Cove book or do I have to start at the beginning?

You can dive in wherever and whenever. There is a timeline for those interested in following the town’s characters, but it’s totally up to you. The worst spoiler you’ll get by starting with, say, the fourth book, is you might discover a couple from a previous book is together. And, spoiler alert, this is romance. Cara wants her characters to have their happily ever afters! Minor details get shared too, but nothing that ruins a couple’s story or gives any plot lines away.

I don’t like to read about cheating. Can you tell me if a book has it?

Cara’s outspoken about divulging spoilers. If you contact her privately, she’s more than happy to give you a heads up about a certain book. In the specific case of cheating, Cara never writes heroes and heroines who cheat on each other. That said, there are a few characters of hers who meet their future significant others while they’re still involved. This tends to be hinted at in the blurb of the book. But if you want to play it safe, you can always contact her.

How many books will there be in the Camassia Cove series?

No clue! It’s an ever expanding town, and Cara has approximately fifteen future books in the series already mapped out.

I finished Noah, and it said there are outtakes from Julian. Where can I find it?

Under “freebies,” there’s a link that’ll take you directly to the download page.

At the end of Path of Destruction, it says Jessie has his own book, but I can’t find it.

At the end of every Camassia book, you’ll see a list of names (secondary characters) who will get their own stories told. Some of them are already out, and some will come out in the future. Jessie’s book hasn’t been written yet. The best option is to sign up for Cara’s newsletter so you won’t miss any updates on new releases.

Can I review ARCs?

Bloggers are an integral part of our community, and they always get Cara’s books for free. If you’re a blogger, you can sign up to receive an alert every time Cara publishes a new book; you’ll find that alert service here. Once you get an alert, there will be a form to submit so you can get access to an ARC for the book Cara’s promoting at that time. If you want an ARC of a book that’s been out for a while, you can always contact her. She and her crew will happily send you a copy.

If you’re a private reader, best option is to follow Cara on social media, especially Facebook. That’s where she hosts giveaways and finds ARC readers.
